Description

Warped Reflections is a solo piano work that is framed as a palindrome. The piece is based on the concept of seeing your calm reflection in the water, slowly interrupted by ripples skimming across the water due to unknown movement. The piece starts on a single pitch that represents the still, none moving reflection. As the piece goes along, it gets more and more active representing the distored image. The piece the wraps around itself and diggresses back to the single pitch.
